usin nfo files for videos doesnt work at all
#1
hello im running xbmc 9.11 on windows 7.

i was fiddling around with the nfo files inside a testfolder with 3 films. i followed the instruction here
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Import_-_Exp...ing_an_URL

it looks like this now:

test/alien1
test/alien2
test/alien3

where test is a video source. inside all the alien 1,2,3 folders is a movie.nfo file each. and i applied the checkbox to use folder names as described in the wiki.
the movie.nfo file simply includes a link to imdb films

http://www.filmstarts.de/kritiken/99845-...-Kopf.html

or

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259615/

but the scrapper doesnt do anything with the nfo files, it scraps down unusable films like aliens and femaliens 2 and so on... very frustrating at this point.

can you help me please to get it working with the nfo files Smile

Do a debug log during scan.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.

Is that what you called the files? movie.nfo? You may have to rename them to the movie title itself, ie alien2.nfo

From the way your post reads, it seems like thats what you did.
