Just upgraded to the latest live cd Dharma from a fresh livecd install. Runs great when in xbmc however it takes nearly 3-5 minutes to load because my screen just goes black when you turn it on before it goes into xbmc.

What do you reckon my problem is. Very annoying

Hello!

I havent got that far with testing yet, but the first beta 9.11 used Grub2 and it hanged for a minute or two on my asrock. I had to downgrade to legacy grub and it went back to normal.

I will get back to on this topic. (so far not testing on my main htpc)

Can you confirm that there is a xbmc log file of the machine booting slowly before starting xbmc?

No.
But there are Ubuntu log files in /var/log

fair enough, but I think many live users will struggle to get those onto pastebin.
I will do it later when I have time if I get the same issue.

Ok, what log is interesting ? messages? Syslog?
