How to play DVD's within XBMC in Linux?
#1
I have an Acer Aspire Revo with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on it. I have XBMC 9.11 R26018 running perfectly. I just bought and hooked up an Asus external USB 2.0 slim line DVD drive. I put a video DVD in it and it appears on the Linux desktop (as I expected). I launch XBMC and I don't see anything about playing the DVD. How can I get this working? Thanks!

"Play" button in lower left-hand corner of the screen, and/or enable auto-play DVD's in the Video settings menu.

you will need a svn build of xbmc thats way to old and it has dvd drive bugs, which are fixed in svn
