Sorry for the nub question, I have used to use xbmc on my xbox for years but I'm New to the windows version. I have looked around but can't find what I'm looking for. I have windows 7 on a laptop and just bought some new Bose speakers and they hook to the headphone jack. They sound great. So I decided to start using Xbmc again for music and videos but can't get sound out of them.
It only comes out the laptop speakers. Once again sorry but this to work fast so i can add my flat screen too.

I did that and nothing. Unless i need to change then shutdown Xbmc And restart.
