i want to turn into dedicated media center.
Specs:
AMD Sempron™ 3100+
ATI Radeon® Xpress 200M chipset
512 MB DDR 333 MHz
ATI Radeon® X300 Based Integrated Graphics
will this work with XBMC?
i'm not going to be playing anything at 720p or anything. i've tried a couple times to get the live cd to load but it just boots to command line. and when launching from ubuntu desktop it loads, i move the mouse around and then it crashes back to desktop. if i install the proprietary ati driver, rebooting causes ubuntu not to load graphics and boot to command line.
i'll admit i havent done too much with linux, and so i dont know how to find/post error reports. this thread is mostly just to check that the hardware is compatable.
