i'm really glad you guys added the splash screen feature. i was wondering, instead of having the splash screen fade out to a black screen, it would be nice if it would fade out but have xbmc fade in at the same time. i believe currently the splash screen fades in, then out...and xbmc just pops up.....the splash screen added a certain professional touch to xbmc, i think my idea could take it that a little further....what do you guys think?

i think we could do fade out/fade in, but not sure about a cross fade - will have to see.
