Does it always fail the same way - i.e. always on that series?

Can you tell me what series this is crashing on and maybe i can just delete it

I think it el hazard magnificent world but that should be formatted right. I know yu yu hakasho wasnt cause it used to never show up in the library before i updated xbmc

Looks like a bug with the scraper - which scraper are you using, and what settings have you chosen for this?

What would be extremely useful is if you could put together a sample filesystem that allows you to reproduce the issue.

You probably only need 1 show with your tvshow.nfo file, and maybe a single 0-byte episode file.

Um... going kinda above my head here. Are u saying make a separate account and only add one show and one of the tvshow.nfo file that it is crashing on

@Zarbis - please do up a trac ticket for this otherwise we're likely to lose track of it. If you could attach the logs to the ticket rather than linking them that would be useful as well to ensure everything stays together.

Feel free to cc me and I'll then cc others that may need to help in fixing it.

Hello guys,

I am also getting XBMC not responding when "loading media info from files"...
It got stuck at the same music folder (perhaps amy winehouse's habbits did something here!) but then I removed that folder and it got stuck and crashed elsewhere...

Here is the XBMC log :
http://pastebin.com/GWbStmG1

I downloaded XBMC and installed it yesterday, v 9.11.

BTW I am extremely excited by the possibility of using my Android Samsung Galaxy S to find and play music on my HIFI without using the TV to navigate! NICE guys!!

Mark.
