Ubuntu 9.10 + svn33778 + lirc = stoppng during a long scroll
#1
Just updated to 33778 and noticed that when holding a long remote control keypress of up/down it stops intermittently three times before doing a continuous scroll (on show/movie listings etc). Using a wired keyboard works fine.

Tried removing and reinstalling lirc and it made no difference.

Anyone else getting the same thing?

I've noticed this too, it happens from time to time and usually as you update in the future it goes back to normal Big Grin . I'm a bit worried at the momment because I have this behaviour in BETA 2, let's just hope it's fixed for the stable release .

The debug log should show no indications of a new LIRC input being received other than the first one. You should, however, get a bunch of OnKey()'s logged. Please confirm.

Keep things simple:

1. Start XBMC.
2. Navigate to a long list.
3. Wait 3 minutes (so we have a clear break between input in the log).
4. Hold down the appropriate button until you've scrolled all the way to the end.
5. Grab the log.

Cheers,
Jonathan
