[LINUX] XBMC Responding very slowly, possibly xorg?
#1
Hi all,

Hoping someone can help, my fresh install of XBMC from SVN 33948 (built yesterday) is responding very slowly, it takes roughly 5 seconds for the GUI or video playback to change, commands work but because of the slow screen update it takes a long time to do anything.

I've tried downloading the latest xbmc-standalone build but get the same result so I'm guessing I've got something misconfigured in xorg but am unsure what.

I've had XBMC installed on this hardware setup with no problems in the past, unfortunatly I failed to backup my system drive which died last week prompting a reinstall!

Current set-up is:

XBMC SVN: 33948 compiled with crystalhd and rtmp enabled
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, 2.6.32-24-generic i686
Hardware: D945GSEJT motherboard, Atom N270 processor, 1 Gb RAM, CrystalHD PCI Express card

Xorg Log: http://pastebin.com/07yqP4z2
XBMC Log: http://pastebin.com/syEYPmn4

I've uploaded both the xorg and xbmc logs from the last attempt I made but there's nothing in there which I recognised as the cause, hoping someone can help me out with this one!
