hi,
i recently experimented with mplayer -fixed-vo on my pc.
it seriously cuts down the loading time between files making the transition between two .avi files almost smooth.
i thought that this might be a good idea for the stacking feature of xbmc. however, i suspect mplayer is restarted between files even when stacking is enabled rendering this feature useless.. atleast creating a .conf with fixed-vo=1 didn't seem to work correctly (but did so on my pc)
is it feasible to rewrite the stack code to make it possible to use this feature?
