Is there any way to add application launcher to home page? So i add button "Firefox", which launch firefox.

There are plenty of threads already explaining how to add a custom home menu item.

System.Exec(shell command) should do it however you have not included much information (eg your platform) so don't expect a detailed response.

Figured it out, Thanks!
You have to go to the skin settings, and edit home.xml. Here you have to add new button with action System.Exec.
