hey all
thinking about this feature everytime i turn on xbmc .
small feature but big diffrent .
release date info can be taken from imdb source or any other good source .

is there much difference between sort 'by release-date' and sort 'by year'?
The second option is already included.

by year ? affcurz there is abig diffrent
when u have 1000 movies and u relly want to list it from the old to the newest then
xbmc should handle sort by full release date .

Movies have different release dates, depending on your location (some need few month for a worldwide release-->Tagged as unknown release date).
So what could be a nice solution ?

Bump for this ... I understand the release date is not the same everywhere, but we could either default to US or have an option to choose?

What's wrong with sorting by year? At most it would be off by one year.

XBMC already sorts by full date.
