Sound device fails to initialise when using XBMC session
#1
I've just built out an install of XBMC on an Asrock ION 330HT and it all works fine. Including my audio over HDMI.

Except if I try and log in automatically using the XBMC session and not Gnome when I receive the error message about "Audio device failed to initialise".

If I login to Gnome and start XBMC manually its fine.

I've googled the issue to death and I can't find any clues, so I'm stumped I've been messing around with it now for two days, I'm no noobie, but I'm no expert either - absolutely any help much appreciated.
