MP4 playback problems - Dharma beta
#1
Since installing the Dharma packages I have not been able to play MP4 video files. Debug log is at Pastebin.com.

The video starts to play but very quickly becomes jerky and there is no sound at all. I tried on a number of MP4 files but it's all the same. My install is an Ubuntu minimal so no window manager (GDM), and I'm using hdmi. Everything else seems to work just fine so far.

According to XBMC system info ;
GPU: ION/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL version 3.2.0 NVIDIA 195.36.24

I followed instructions at http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMCbuntu#Po....264_Files to no avail. I also read there that the opengl version >185 is flaky. Could this be my problem? if so how do I downgrade to a working version, and what is the knock on effect of doing so.

Any help appreciated.
