I was having trouble with my movies not being scanned into the library so i scanned the forums and found a fix/workaround to the problem. but what i would like to know is why it wasnt working:

when i had the 'use folder name for lookup' it would give the debug msg "Not adding item to library as no info was found ". i have to use 'scan recursivly' to get it to work.

my file structure is:

\movies\movie name [date]\movie name.avi

i use The Renamber to rename and move them, Ember to scrape them and then Eventghost will tell XBMC to update the library.

you have set content on the wrong dir. you have set content on your F:\XBMC dir by the looks of it. unless you scan recursively, we only look one folder beneath that. that's the F:\XBMC\Movies folder - no movies there. and thus you get your mess.
