hi im using this feature in dharma/win 7 but everytime i go from xbmc to video or back the tv spends time flickering between the two - is quite annoying
does this happen for everyone, is there a way to cut down on the flickering time?

It is normal, you can't do anything atm.

Not the answer I'm afraid - I've got a Kuro and get the same problem. I could manage to put up with one resolution change, but at the moment XBMC carries out a change to both 24 and 23.976, before settling into playback. A known issue, but one that doesn't seem to be attracting a lot of interest.
