It's automatic for the most part, there's various skin "teams" setup for when they were developing a skin with a bunch of folk. Most of these are no longer used in any way, but the tags stick around.
Feel free to PM me if you feel you deserve a particular one - there's a "Skilled Skinner" one that may well fit the bill...

Maybe its just because I'm "team" or a mod but in CP under "Edit Your Details" > "Optional Information - All information will be viewable by other forum members." the first one is "Custom User Title"
