hi guys, i finally got it too work, i had to create a new username and password on the computer (so the wiki said)

i added:

username: xbmcu
password: xbmcp

and it connected up straight away and started to stream my films!

now the next step, how do i go about adding all the fancy album art and stuff?

Another annoyed user of XBMC, i have the same problem.

Did anyone test this USB installer before release?

I'm not fortunate enough to have an external USB CD ROM lying around to complete this installation process, hence my opting for the USB installation route.

Sat here now with a non working Acer Revo.

I wish i had stuck with the old version of XBMC.

How the hell am i going to install the new version of XBMC if i don't have a CD ROM connected to my Acer Revo.

*Reaches for another beer*
