Hi all, I installed full desktop version ubuntu 10.04 and everything installed fine. I try to install xbmc live but it comes to boot menu and I select install to drive as I want the ion 330 for xbmc only it fails and brings me back to ion menu. I've tried from USB and cd?
would you recommend uninstalling ubuntu and installing just live and would that limit me from using emulators.

Please any help would be much appreciated.

live is ubuntu, albeit a very minimal version.

Ion menu-Ion 330 sub boot menu giving me options to boot up f2, f11 for boot menu etc.

I'm gonna try redownloading live and burning it again. I'm still struggling installing it keeps taking me back.

Or shall I install windows 7?

The live cd that I made worked on my laptop.

Just install the cd if you want the live version no need to install ubuntu.
