hi guys,

im trying to playback dts audio cds over xbmc dharma beta 2 without being able to get back 5.1 channel sound. it the receiver only plays it back in 2 channels/stereo.

specs:

xbmc dharma beta 2
win xp sp3
optical out to pioneer vsx-23txh receiver.
selectable 44.1/48/192 khz output via soundcard.

videos with dts work fine, but dts audio cds playback in 2 channels only.
doesnt xbmx passthrough the stream to the receiver to decode?
how do i get it working?

Same problem here,
I did read some hints, to press c when the track is highlighted, then select play with.. and then DVD player. Then I hear only some static. And you ??

Updated to Dharma 4 and some drivers, now playing music with both DVD player and music player, but only 2 channel PCM. ??
