I have looked around at different tutorials, but there isn't one that has exactly what I need. A lot of them have information that is out of date and sometimes doesn't work.
I have a HTPC with an I5 650 processor, gigabyte h55 mobo and 5450 ati card. What do I need to follow to get XBMC running?
I just want to follow some steps that are fairly simple. I just need to get XBMC installed so that it outputs HDMI with DTS-HD or Dolby HD audio, and doesn't have video lag. I tried to install the XBMCfreak live, and it currently has issues playing my BDMV rips. The video lags way too much.
I also want to make it so that I just click on the Movie poster and it automatically plays the largest m2ts file in the BDMV folder. And finally, is there a good tutorial to install the AEON skin?
