I've been getting an occasional screen flicker for a while now. It happens both in the menu and during a video.
I had everything working perfect less than a year ago as a SVN install on Ubuntu 9.10. I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.4 then reinstalled from the SVN. I lived with it for a while, trying many tweaks to my xorg.conf, until finally giving up and reinstalling the entire machine with the latest XBMC live image. At first it seemed ok, but it's flickering again. It seemed like it was only happening after a resume, but it was ok if I cold booted.
I found some info about using /etc/acpi/sleep.sh to suspend instead of pm-suspend. I tried it but it didn't seem to help. Here are my details...
