while pressing o or i i cannot get cpu info up all i get is the runtime of the file playing. i have uninstalled xbmc removed all folders and re-installed and still the same, any ideas?

Have you tried removing the profile folder as it mentions in the uninstaller, this should wipe all button configuration changes.
