Play .iso files,
#1
Hello!

I have used xbmc for a while now and I can't get it to play .iso files (dvd movies on a file).

I have tried the repo-version and I have now installed the latest dharma from svn (https://xbmc.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot...hes/Dharma, Revision: 34852)

Running Ubuntu 10.04.1, and my setup is done by following the guide XBMCbuntu, except that I now have installed the svn version.
I have installed restricted-extras and run /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

uname -a
Linux MaShi 2.6.32-25-server #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 17 21:13:39 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Here's the log file:

Thanks for your time!

your iso files are not dvd isos. you probably have a joliet enabled filesystem in them. dvd iso's are hybrid udf 1.02 / iso level 1.

Is there any test-iso that I can try and do you know of any tool that will convert my iso-s to the right format, or maybe a way to make xbmc play theese too?
