Hello
I'm new to XMBC and yesterday I have installed a fresh copy of the latest Dharma (no previous XBMC directory in application support).
The problem I am experiencing is that I can't install anything, no add-on, no skins, I can't even upgrade the default scrapers.
All I get is "installation failed" errors after addon download.
I also tried to install from zip file but nothing happens.
I first thought of a permission problem in the application support/XBMC directory so i changed all permissions to give Everyone read/wright rights but nothing changed.

Any idea?

In the meanwhile, is there any chance to disable md5 check or manually install?

Yup. In addons/repository.xbmc.org/addon.xml, change:

<hashes>true</hashes>
to
<hashes>false</hashes>

Is this something recent? Everything worked fine for me this past Saturday. Installed Scrapers and T! skin with no issues using Beta 3

EDIT: Nevermind...I see its a PPC thing.
