Hi, I get no picture when I run mkv files in xbmc. I get sound and can see the subtitles but no video . If, however, I press the tab so that the menu appears, I see the picture. If I turn off DXVA2 it works but lags in 1080p. I do not have this problem with other file types, just mkv. I have a dual core 3.2GHz, Radeon HD5450, 2GB RAM in my HTPC. Latest release of dharma and updated Direct X. The. Mkv works in windows media player.

What Can Be Wrong?

That's a known problem for some ATI 5xxx users. Some had luck with a driver update and a settings reset.
Still tracking down the root problem.
