Hi guys,
I'm new to XBMC and the forums so please bare with me.. I've done a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I have a Revo 3600 which I am using as a dedicated htpc. I loaded xbmc live 9.1.1 directly to the hard drive and is playing video from my external quite nicely. What I want to do, is somehow upload files to the external hard drive attached to the Revo, which is attached to my router as well.

router ==> Revo ==> External hdd

I'm guessing FTP would be nice. I need to know how to enable FTP, and what path I should be looking in for the external hard drive.

Any help would be great!

Try using filezilla mate

Host <Your IP>
Login: xbmc
Password: xbmc
Port: 22
Server Type: SFTP

Im not sure if you can browse using that to the external drive?
