Ive installed dharma beta 3 form here and form xbmcfeak and with both I cant get sound in menus and crossfading working. Also seem to have probs getting mp3/mkv audio to work. Tried numerous asoundrc fixes to no avail. however If I run the beta 3 direct form usb witohut installing everything works without touching anything. Any ideas why ?

Ive spent hours today trying to get a Beta 3 to work, the official and XBMCFreak versions. Both have their issues.

I also cannot get menu sounds with either install. Audio for videos is fine after changing all to HDMI and unmuting in Audio mixer program (Freak version).

I cannot get resume / wake on USB remote to work though!!

I thought it was just me! I tried asoundrc fixes to no avail also. I was thinking about posting a ticket on TRAC but wanted to make sure it wasn't another one of my newbie mistakes.

can you both try running xbmc form usb see if you also get everything working ?
