Yesterday i tried to update my perfectly working Beta 3 to Beta 4.
But the result was a xbmc that is not able to play any music or video files. The browsing in xbmc works perfectly.\

Hardware:
Zotac IONITX-A


What i have done so far:
restored the install partition to beta3 with an image.
Restored the .xbmc directory via a backup

Still no video nor music will play. XBMC crashes within a second after pushing Play on the remote.

On line 640 i press ok to start the movie

PS: Since the upgrade my navigation sounds are also gone. maybe this will help solve the problem

Fixed it myself.

the .asoundrc file was corrupted.
Deleting the file and rebooting solved all problems.
