[LINUX] Script-Fehler bei allen Scripts
#1
Hello,

I've installed xbmc under Debian Testing via aptitude, resulting in:

Code:
ii  xbmc                                    9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (full metapackage)
ii  xbmc-bin                                9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (binary data package)
un  xbmc-common                             <keine>                                 (keine Beschreibung vorhanden)
ii  xbmc-data                               9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (arch-independent data package)
ii  xbmc-eventclients-common                9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (Event Client Common package)
ii  xbmc-scripts-example                    9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (example scripts)
ii  xbmc-skin-confluence                    9.11-0.8                                XBMC Media Center (Confluence HD skin)
un  xbmc-test-helper                        <keine>                                 (keine Beschreibung vorhanden)
un  xbmc-third-parties                      <keine>                                 (keine Beschreibung vorhanden)

xbmc (great app btw!) runs fine, I tried playing videos from my hard drive, which works like a charm.

I got SVN Repo Installer running, but I can't manage to get scripts running, adding them as subfolders to /home/user/.xbmc/scripts/

I tried Navi-X or running the preinstalled ones after starting xbmc in Skripts/Common Scripts/scripts.zip - but all I get is a short "(running)" behind the name and then an error message in the right bottom corner quoting "Script-Fehler!:" plus the script's name.

I found some older wiki entries about downloading python dll's and spyce dirs, which I tried, putting them to /home/user/.xbmc/system/python, unfortunatly without success.

Any clues?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers
Frisco

Hm, is

a Debian repository? I prefer installing via my systems package manager.

If not, do you have any idea how to solve my problem with the version I installed?

Cheers

I know, but I didn't find any means to change this after submitting my post Sad
