Buying new LCD TV - question about resolution
#1
I have HTPC built on ION 330 Atom that has HDMI and DVI-D outs. I want to buy new 32" LCD TV but because money is tight, I am looking for the low-end models with 1366 x 768 resolution (720p). Would XBMC look alright on such display? Is there somebody that had both 720p and 1080p on 32" display that could let me know if there is actually noticeable difference in picture quality?

I am more concerned about the UI and not the movies. Most of my movies are standard rips from DVDs and I do not even own a single HD movie yet.

Thanks.

720 will look just fine on a 32-inch TV, just make sure whatever you buy can do 1-to-1 pixel mapping (I think some brands call it dot-to-dot)
