Status Code 6 on AppleTV/XBMC
#1
So everything was working fine until I upgraded to dharma beta 4 and then after a few days of working ok I started to receive "XBMC/Boxee has exited with a status code: 6" when i attempt to launch XBMC on my AppleTV

I tried installed 9.11 Camelot again with the same result. I ended up re-patching the whole unit and it was working find for about 2 hours until i had to reboot the unit and then it went back to the error code 6 again.

Does anybody have an clue now to fix this or what is causing it?

Here is my log file: http://pastebin.com/embed_js.php?i=B7C58rHn

Hi!

Delete the existing database, if that does not help you are having then physical disk problem.

You will have to buy new disk and recreate it, so that it will work in Apple TV.

You can test your disk with HDD Regenerator and try to repair it on windows system (it was on Hirens boot cd a few versions before). It is not necessary that the disk is permanently damaged it may contain just magnetic errors which can be repaired (you can get this kind of errors when the electricity goes away).

Thanks! I deleted the database and now it loads again.... Just looks like i have to rescan everything in again though.... Any idea what causes that corruption or is there something i can do to prevent it? It's kinda a pain to rescan everything in each time to the library and then go set everything as "watched" again in my library.... it takes 3 hours just to scan the database in alone!

Yes, I thought aTV1 was immune for db corruption and few friends were getting aTV2 db getting corrupted and xbmc keep getting exit and all they do is delete aTV2 database directory and working fine.
