Hi,
I wonder if the current XBMC supports HW video decode? Is there a list of supported GPUs/APIs? or any related documents?

Yes. We support most.
VDPAU, VA-API, CrystalHD, OpenMAX (on tegra2) on linux.
DXVA and CrystalHD on windows.
on OSX we support CrystalHD and that normal osx thingy iirc.
As to what gpu just get one that supports vdpau, thats generally your best bet (e.g. ION)
