Shouldn't be a problem on Mac and same quality. It will actually save space vs. DTS-HD MA. But I've been there and done that. The problem for me was that I was getting tired of doing the conversion process. Today I use AnyDVDHD, ClownBD, and just save the main movie, HD Audio, and PGS English subs. The steps are reduced, it takes up more space, and the payoff is 1:1 quality. Currently using a HDi Dune Player to get the HD Audio, but the interface sucks balls compared to XBMC.
