XBMC Live CD - is there a way to open other applications (e.g. Terminal, Browser)?
#1
I think the Live CD is truly impressive, and I plan to install it on a USB disk in order to make my HTPC totally silent. However, lack of a web browser may be limiting. Is there a browser somewhere on the Live CD? If so, any way to access it? I couldn't find a way to open a command-line terminal either. Is it possible?

Now, I know I can install Ubuntu or some other Linux distro on the USB disk and then add XBMC as an app, but I'm really curious to see if it's possible to do it all using the XBMC Live CD only.

Thanks!

Short and to the point. No doubt I really should have searched better...

- Launching the Terminal
- Installing Firefox
- HOW-TO launch applications from XBMC Live

I can't wait to get back home to try this. Thanks for helping! :-)
