Wireless needs restart to work
#1
I have an XBMC-Live install on my Acer AspireRevo AR3610-U2002, and everything works perfectly...almost. Whenever I startup I have to exit out of XBMC and restart the service (xbmc-live) from the terminal in order for wireless to work in XBMC (it works from the terminal, like I can ping and see my connection, just nothing works in the XBMC program).

I guess XBMC is starting up before the wireless is initalized or something.

Anyway I really want to know if there is a way to get it to work right away, without have to restart XBMC, because I would hate if I had to do that everytime...and keep a keyboard around.

Currently Im using an alfa awus036NH USB wireless card...but the same thing happens with the internal card as well.

I dont know what kind of install you have but on one of mine I have to put a 15 second delay in /usr/bin/runXBMC to wait for the wireless to connect. I could most likeley shorten it but it dosent bother me as I dont often reboot.

in

/usr/bin/runXBMC

add

sleep 15

after all the comments

If that dosent work I have a button mapped on the remote to restart XBMC (takes about 3 seconds.)
