Upgrading from Dharma B4 to RC1

It might be a good idea to mark the kernal and some other stuff to be held back. I think it was in one of the old live versions.

Not to jump too far into the arguement but i remember in my early days of XBMC the advice was always to sudo apt-get Upgrade and boy did it break more than it cured. I learned the hard way that sudo apt-get install xbmc was the most painless, and certainly most effective way of upgrading a xbmc live system.

W: A error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://extras.ubuntu.com maverick Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY DB141E2302FDF932

W: Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/maverick/Release

W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I'm not sure what that specific error means, you did a "apt-get update", right? Also, it looks like you are using Maverick, which is very bleeding edge - expect lots of issues.
