[LIVE] problems with cropped screen
#1
Hi there,
Im running into a small problem when running programs from within xbmc. I have both launcher and executor programs running in fullscreen, however no-matter what resolution I set the screen to from within these programs, I seem to crop some of the top and some of the bottom off the screen

The same problem occurs with xbmc itself, however you can get around this issue using the video calibration method.

Most of these external programs (mostly games) I do not have such a luxury!

Can anyone point me in the direction of what may be causing this ? I have xbmc installed on a ASRock 330HT which is plugged via HDMI into my Onkyo amp (and from there via HDMI into my tv).

Here's a copy of my xorg.conf if this helps ...

I have no idea if this is even an issue with X, however I assumed it would be. What I'd like is a nice easy fix if possible !

Many thanks

i've tried checking my TV settings but the video screen size cannot be changed (i assume due down to the fact it is receiving an HDMI source).

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
