I have installed XBMC Dharma RC1 live on the hard disk. Enabled wake-up from USB and this works fine for the first time waking-up my comp. But the second time i wake my machine up it just gives me a black screen and nothing works. No sound no network.
On the same machine I have also W7 and Ubuntu 10.10 installed but those don't give the same problem, so i guess its not the problem of my machine.

Please give me some advice where i should look.

Yes I forgot to mention i use the nvidia-current package from ubuntu.

Might be unrelated but I had an issue where the machine shutdown but left the fans running. On starting up it had no network or sound.

Fix was to disable the 'USB Legacy Support' in the bios.

Well i don't have that option on my laptop, so i couldn't give it a try.
Another thing i notice is that when it wakes up my screen is dimmed.
