Where is the Watched mark?
#1
Question
I have try the Night Skin and i really like it, except for one issue....

I don´t know if is related to the XBMC RC1, but in Videos -> File Mode, there is no Watched mark on files with Night Skin, so i can´t see wich videos i´ve seen already...

There is an option to show and hide the Watched marks, but both keeps the same with no Marks

I put some screenshots to explain it more easy...

Nights Skin -> No Watched Marks...

PM3.HD Skin, -> With Watched Marks

I have installed XBMC RC1 without Uninstalling the 9.11 version, don´t know if this helps or not or it´s related....

I also tried to download a new build from the http://passion-xbmc.org but the issue keeps the same...

Thanks! So this is suppposed to look like....

Here is wrong maybe because of the upgrade? but if, other skins should have the same issue...

Or maybe the "database of watched files" is somehow incompatible with the night skin? :confused2:

Where XBMC keeps this kind of record? The list of watched files?

Maybe if a backup this, then full uninstall XBMC and the install only the rc1...

When i change to library mode the list becomes empty....:confused2:

To add my folder, i just choose add source, navigate to folder with all my files, type a name for the folder and select ok...i did this in 9.11 install and when i upgrade to rc1, no need to do it again...

How can i add the same to library?

You have nothing in your library - you need to set content on your existing sources and then scan them into your library.

It seems that newer versions of XBMC support a watched tag for files not in the Library, and you can see from the context menu that the file has been marked watched, however the skin is not designed to display this info - this is my guess.

Hopefully I will have some time tomorrow to have a look at the code for Confluence and see if there is an easy fix, but I know nothing about xml so it will take me a while no doubt...

What is the watched mark supposed to look like for Movies? It works perfectly for my TV Shows, but not for my Movies. Do I have to be in a specific view for it to work? I currently use Showcase for my movies, but there are no markers indicating the watched movies.
