XBMC Live problem (warning major noob)
#1
Okay so I am trying to install XBMC live for my HTPC I am using and h55 board with i3 540 and I am trying to install to a 2GB USB flash drive right now but am not having any luck...

I am installing xbmc-Dharma-Rc2 which I downloaded about around 6pm Dec 2nd.

I get through the installer no problem (used LVM dont know if that makes a difference) but when it starts to boot it drops from the loading screen and gives ALERT! /dev/mapper/XBMCLive-root does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu11

from here I have no idea what to do to debug anything in the shell...

Is there some step I am missing? I tried reinstalling it with the BD-ROM in IDE mode (was in AHCI first time didnt work) and I have tried rebooting several times.

Help is very much appreciated as I would love to get XBMC working...

Try without LVM, at one point it caused problem and perhaps it still does.
