Hey all

I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and xbmc so I can play my movies on my two tvs at home.

But I have a problem. When I try to play a .avi (xvid, mpg4) on my XBox 360, I get 'Unplayable Content, status code 69-807B0194' on both my XBoxs 360. On my Ubuntu machine, I can play this file within xbmc and with a movie player. From my XBoxs I can play the same file shared by my windows7 laptop (not using WMC).

Its probably just a setting or configuration in my xbmc, but cant find the info anywhere so far. Anyone got an idea ?

The problem was my library. I changed the name of the directories containing my videos but didnt do a library cleanup.

Everything works fine now =)

I also encountered another problem for those having similar trouble. Some videos could play in xmbc but didnt appear in the library. That was because xbmc is picky about naming convention so the scrapper couldnt get the videos info, so didnt store the movie in the library. I just get the info manually and everything was good =)
