I have tried almost everything now , different guides and wiki and i can still not get any sound at all from HDMI - picture is nu problem and in windows theres nu problem , just xbmc live.
I have checked the mixer settings an all , and i have tried different builds from 9.11 an forward with no succes , i had some build working before but i had to reinstall a new build due to buffering problems via usb.
Can i please get any help from u guys , i dont know what to do next as i am a total noob with linux also....

Is there some build thats working from start with an Asrock ION330HT ??

In the setup menu i have tried to set all to HDMI and vice verca , i have also tried the win version and could get sound via HDMI ther , but i had to choose analog 7.1 and output HDMI ?

OK , so i have now found my old disc that was working out of the box , so now i have sound over HDMI , is there a way to upgrade from this old version to the latest one and keep the working sound ?
