Here is my issue,
I am using win 7 and if i plug a usb stick in it gets automatically added to the options in the menu, If i plug a external hdd in the only way i can access it is if i add it as a source,

When i say menu i mean in the sources list under video.

is there any solutions for this ,
I just want it to work the same as my xbmc live one .

I suspect Windows sees your USB stick as a removable drive but the USB disk as a fixed drive.
