Linux XBMCUbuntu - HDMI Output not working.

using latest edition of xbmcubuntu. everything is perfect except for HDMI output not displaying on TV.
its direct cable from laptop to TV.

Have you tried a different cable? Simple stuff first.

Is there no video at all? No video when playing videos? If you reboot the computer, does the boot output show up on the screen?

yes tested it with different cable, it was working fine on win7.
Nothing shows on screen, not even boot screen.

If Win7 worked, then you should have BIOS output on boot. Changing OSes wouldn't cause that to quit showing up. Are you sure nothing has changed in the BIOS?
