Hello !
I'm searching a way to add in keyboard.xml a key to use the function "Scan for new content" we can find in Video > Source > Context Menu

I already found how to add "Update library" :

<v mod="ctrl">UpdateLibrary(video)</v>

It works, but doesn't scan the disk in D:\ drive. I would like to put a disk with a movie and add this one to the library.
The only way for it is the "scan for new content" action.

sure, but only as a local mapping (since it's still contextual). 'ScanItem'

Thanks, but how do I select the specific item ?
For exemple if my folder is named F:\FILMS and the source named FILMS on XBMC database.

as i said, it's contextual. it applies to whatever item is currently selected in the list. it's the same as opening the context menu and hitting 'scan for new content', except, you don't have to open the context menu...

I will try to manage something with AutoIt.
ScanItem will help me to make something better than my previous exe with "UP" UP" "ENTER"...
