Hi There,

I got mythtv backend 0.23 running on maverick.
While watching LiveTV with xbmc dharma rc2 as frontend I got the problem, that, when one show ends and another one starts xbmc hangs for few seconds and get back to channel listing. Seems there is a timeout while mythtv creates the new mpg file for the new show.
Before I had lucid with mythtv from the repos and xbmc 9.11 running and never had this problem.

Any hints?

What sort of tuner card are you using? Someone is looking at a fix for LiveTV for external tuners, e.g. HD Homerun. Not sure if that problem is related.

I got a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-HD-S2

But within mythtv it is working smooth.

Only when using xbmc as frontend the Problem appears.

Seems that there is a kind of caching Problem, while a new recording is startet.
