[mr_merriweather]

So I created a usb install of XBMC live (Dharma RC2) on my main computer, and when I tried to boot it up on my laptop, it goes straight to shell (tty1) every time. it works fine on my main computer. here are the specs for the two computers:

main computer:
AMD Athlon II x4 (Propus)
4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD4870

laptop:
Intel Core i3 M 370
2GB RAM
Intel GMA HD

any ideas?
