Most of the times playing back mkv files using the onboard hdmi of a DFI Lanparty GF9400 mobo stutters. Any suggestions? I have enabled HA in Videos section, I use night skin.

More info is better info. What version of Windows are you running? Can you post a debug log? Are your drivers up to date?

Mostly, posting a debug log will do an awful lot to tell us what the problem is. If you don't know how, see my signature for the link on how to post a windows related problem.

haven't seen the debug log yet but lowering your reslution to 720p (1280x720) might help relieving the stress from the cpu & onboard gpu a bit. Its worth trying anyways!
