As always, everything worked find and it's suddenly stopped working.
I have an XBMC 9.11 installed on Ubuntu 9.04.

The "update library" stop recognizing new tv show episodes for an existing series.
Adding a new episode to an already exist Dexter's 5th season directory and trying to add it to the the library by doing "update library" does not find any new content.

When I recently added a new series to my tv shows folder and ran an "update library" the episodes for the new series were found and added to the library. When I added new episodes to this new added series and ran an "update library" no new content was found.

Any idea ?

You are running an old version of XBMC. Step 1 would be to update to a new version. Step 2 would be to post a debug log if it still happens.

apt-get install xbmc tells me I have the newest version already installed.
Off course I updated my repository before executing that, so there is a chance I wrote down a wrong XBMC version, the log file claims I got Built on Aug 19 2010 (SVN:26018).
